About Construction 407

Having studied engineering in different universities, our founders used to come together to study engineering in room 407, which was located in the construction department in one of the Egyptian faculties of engineering. A couple of years after their graduation, and having specialized in different domains such as, process engineering, research and development, and project management, our founders have come together again to start Construction 407 in 2014.

One year later, the founders Partnered up with their mentor, Eng. Ayman altaher who has been taking-on construction and finishing contracts for both the public and private sectors since the 1990s. Eng. Ayman has always had a relentless passion for process engineering and He has been seeking leaner performance and more efficient allocation of resources since he started his career. The group has come up with an organizational design that aims at achieving a creative positioning that can add value to a rapidly evolving market.

Construction 407, leads a new generation of engineering services providers by combining the swiftness of entrepreneur contractors that usually carry light backpacks of overheads, with the technical capacity and precision of industry veterans. Such mix strikes the suitable balance for customers who are looking to avoid the hassle of hiring random providers, without having to bear the high margins that the industry champions charge. To conduct this equation, Construction 407 adopts lean organizational design, recruits and nurtures top calibers, and internally develops the highest levels of readiness and agility.

Construction 407 aims at sustaining a lean organizational design that secures the lowest possible waste across its value chain. Core and support functions are designed and executed so that the minimum number of activities is executed by just the right number and exactly the right type of calibers, and using just the right volume of resources. Our resume also includes industrial, healthcare, and educational facilities, not to mention a number of civil projects that the company has conducted since its founding. To every project we assign three teams that collectively blend together to get things done. Our site engineers who are carefully put together, are a group of old heads on young shoulders. They combine engineering excellence, with market knowledge, field experience, and personality traits that enable all of this to come together in a form of a complete deliverable, at the right cost, and in the right time. This team is backed up by a technical support office that contains a flock of brilliant minds that are capable of providing answers to our front liners. Our third team, the project management team, is the gauge that oversees the work of the first two teams to make sure that each project is delivered according to specified KPIs and SLAs.

Thus, our architecture department excel in compiling a wholesome and integrated design that includes every fit-out activity, starting with finishing and decorations, and ending with FF&E and smart home features. Our project management team masters the logical relationships between these components and their subcomponents which leads to an efficient execution at the lowest cost, which is inline with Construction 407 philosophy, and off course, the inhabitant experience comes as a bonus. Our portfolio includes landscaping and outdoor aesthetics as well, so whatever the property might be, and whatever its function is, our team is capable of deciphering those functions and translating them into a precise blueprint that can be then transformed into a physical creation.

Construction 407 provides power optimization services for new and existing properties. Our engineers are capable of analyzing power systems by studying electrical designs for projects under construction, and by monitoring energy consumption for existing projects. Afterwards, our team is capable of catering the appropriate energy solution for every project, be it a different distribution, solar energy systems implementation, equipment refurbishment/replacement, or even installing smart home features.

Construction 407 provides project management services as an integral part of any project to which it is assigned, whatever the scope might be. Our project management team is fully committed to constructing a baseline time schedule and remuneration plan, and then frequently updating the baseline to keep the customer oriented regarding the different project control metrics, with an ultimate objective that is to comply to cost and time baseline plans, whilst ensuring the agreed quality standards. Construction 407 also offers its project management services separately to customers that are looking for a third party to monitor and control the execution of their projects. Our project management team undertakes the planning, coordination and control functions of a project from start to finish. We take care of the day-to-day progress of the entire project, drawing upon our extensive knowledge of the engineering and construction processes, and backed-up by sophisticated support systems of document control, contract management, procurement management and value engineering.
